Powertrain

Green Alert! Compass's 2.4L DOHC 16V dVVT I-4 engine is one of the greenest engines on the planet. It also features a 15-year (or least 150,000 mile) factory emissions warranty.

All of the 2.0L and 2.4L World Engines feature a heavy dose of high-tech:

Accident Avoidance

During extreme steering maneuvers the standard Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system helps maintain control by sensing when the vehicle is starting to over - or understeer.

The system automatically applies individual brakes or controls the throttle to help you stay safely on course. When you don't want the extra hand, ESC is specially tuned for performance handling so you can switch it off.

The Freedom-Drive I full-time active 4WD system responds to wheel slippage by transferring power equally to the front and rear wheels, improving vehicle stability.
