2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Pricing Announced

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is officially here to help Jeep expand its lineup and venture into the three-row SUV segment. With all-new architecture, an all-new interior, the most advanced high-tech safety and security features, and three Jeep 4×4 systems, the 2021 Grand Cherokee L is turning heads in its class — especially for its segment-leading advanced technologies. Ushering in an unmatched combination of legendary 4×4 capability, premium styling, superb craftsmanship, and superior on-road refinement, the Grand Cherokee L has a starting MSRP of $36,995 (plus destination fee).

Powerplant Basics

The Grand Cherokee L lineup consists of four trims: Laredo, Limited, Overland, and Summit. Buyers can choose from two powerful, fuel-efficient engines prepped for any driving situation. Standard across the entire lineup is Jeep’s classic 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, with 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. For the buyers that need a little more throttle behind the wheel, there’s an award-winning 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine capable of generating 357 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The HEMI V8 engine option is exclusive to the o\Overland and Summit trims with 4×4 only. Both award-wni8ng engines are paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, delivering smooth and crisp gear changes and enhanced fuel economy figures. The Hemi-powered Grand Cherokee L has a class-leading towing capacity up to 7,200 pounds.

Significant next-generation innovations are present in the 2021 Grand Cherokee L, including the most advanced Uconnect infotainment system yet, a digital rearview mirror, a front-row wireless charging pad, a full-color windshield head-up display, and a rear-seat monitoring camera. For the first time ever a premium 950-watt, 19-speaker McIntosh sound system is available on the Grand Cherokee lineup. The audio system also has a 17-channel amplifier with an impressive output of 950 watts and a 10-inch subwoofer. As for the most advanced Uconnect system yet, buyers can expect a 10.1-inch digital display, operating speeds five times faster than the previous generation, and other perks such as Apple CarPlay and Google Android capabilities as well as the Alexa “Home to Car” functionality. 

The all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is currently being assembled at the new Detroit Assembly Complex — Mack Plant and is slated to arrive in dealerships during the second quarter of 2021.
