2024 Jeep Compass
Avail. Engine Type
Every 2024 Jeep Compass is powered by a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine generating 200 horsepower and up to 221 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed transmission, as well as all-new standard all-wheel drive, help round out the powertrain on the 2024 Jeep Compass. Buyers who are serious about off-roading and willing to splurge can get all they need from the Jeep Compass Trailhawk trim which now features a low “crawler” gear ratio, as well as a Rock mode, for 2024. Agile and responsive, the 2024 Jeep Compass offers buyers nicely weighted steering. Of course, the biggest perk of the 2024 Jeep Compass is the all-wheel drive, which helps the SUV hold its own around obstacles and more challenging rough and rugged terrain as it remains well-controlled and solidly on the ground.
What’s New For 2024?
While there aren’t substantial changes for the 2024 Compass from Jeep, the small SUV is set to receive fresh appearance and equipment packages later in the year. Although specific details about these packages have not been disclosed by Jeep, we will provide updates as soon as the information becomes available. Notably, the front grille insert has undergone updates, and additional 19-inch wheel designs will be introduced later in the model’s life cycle. The Trailhawk trim, known for its ruggedness, will also feature a new all-terrain tire.
Premium craftsmanship and enhanced exterior design join forces on the 2024 Jeep Compass, thanks in large part to the restyling of numerous signature components. The changes to the 2024 Jeep Compass’ design give the model a new distinguished look that combines on-road sophistication and off-road grit. Buyers can enjoy a slew of advanced LED lighting technology for improved visibility while on the road. Front LED reflectors are standard, regardless of trim, while premium LED projector headlights and taillights are available on the Latitude LUX, Limited, and Trailhawk trims. LED fog lamps are available on the Latitude trim and above. The High Altitude Edition trim stands out with its body-color painted front and rear fascias and is accented with Neutral Grey accents, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, painted side flares, and 19-inch painted Granite Crystal aluminum wheels.
On the inside, the 2024 Jeep Compass is comfortable, functional, and offers more than enough space for four adult passengers. In this diverse class of crossover SUVs, the Jeep Compass stands out for its high seat bottoms that provide passenger support even on long rides. The 2022 Jeep Compass offers the following standard features: a front-passenger fold-forward seat, a rear 60/40 folding seat, push-button start, a rear cargo underfloor tray, a cargo compartment carpet, eight cargo tie-down loops, and a six-way seat adjustment on the driver and passenger seats (power eight-way seat adjustment on the high-tier Compass Limited). The high-tier Limited trim offers exclusive leather perforated upholstery complete with leather trim bucket seats, while premium cloth or vinyl upholstery is standard on the rest of the lineup. A heated leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats are also available on the Compass Limited trim, while the Trailhawk trim features exclusive red interior stitching accents.
Other perks of the 2024 Jeep Compass include an available 10.25-inch frameless full-color thin-film transistor (TFT) digital cluster, along with a standard 10.1-inch digital infotainment touchscreen with the latest Uconnect 5 infotainment system, and Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto capabilities. There’s also an available wireless charging pad. There is also a larger infotainment display measuring 10.1-inches for those buyers looking to upgrade.
