Chrysler Upgrades 2018 Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid

There weren’t too many changes Chrysler needed to make to start the 2018 model year off right. The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid had a very successful first year. Among some of the top awards the Pacifica earned was a best in class rating in the minivan segment in the 2017 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study and qualifying for an I.I.H.S. Top Safety Pick+. But, Chrysler wants the Pacifica to stay on top of its game in 2018, so they made a few new changes for the 2018 model year, check them out.

To make the Chrysler Pacifica more appealing to more customers Chrysler added a new more affordable trim for 2018, the Pacifica L. The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica L has a starting MSRP of $26,995, which is $1,600 less than the starting price of the most affordable 2017 Pacifica model. Chrysler also added the new Pacifica Hybrid Touring L, which gives consumers more options when deciding on the features they want their PHEV minivan to have.

Also new for the 2018 model year is all Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid models will come standard with a more advanced version of Uconnect, which is called Uconnect 4. Uconnect 4 has been tweaked to improve user experience and it comes standard with Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto. Also all 2018 Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid models will be available with a 7- or 8.4-inch touchscreen, which is a great modern amenity.

Chrysler also improved the minivans safety features. All 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid models come standard with the SafetyTec Group, and that includes ParkSense Rear Park Assist with Stop, Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection.
