Stellantis Shines at the 39th Atlanta International Auto Show Thanks to Chrysler, Jeep and Wagoneer
Stellantis, the parent company of both Jeep and Chrysler, steamrolled into the 39th Atlanta International Auto Show on April 14 (2021). A variety of displays and other interactive experiences from brands such as Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, Jeep, and Ram were available for patrons. Chrysler showcased its revamped 2021 Pacifica model, while Jeep returned to the show with its Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Wrangler 4xe, and the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. Sub-brand Wagoneer got its own display and experience as a premium extension of the Jeep brand.
The new, top-of-the-line 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Pinnacle trim is loaded with premium features and offers the most luxurious interior in its segment. As it stands now, the Pacifica Hybrid remains the segment’s first and only plug-in hybrid vehicle, with more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe), an all-electric range that exceeds 30 miles, and a total range of over 500 miles. Chrysler is also showcasing its 2021 Pacifica Touring L “S” at the Atlanta International Auto Show, with its all-wheel-drive capability, class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating, a refreshed exterior, more standard safety features than any other vehicle in the industry, and revamped interior design. The S Appearance Package includes a new “Foreshadow” finish on the wheels and Anodized Ink finishes on the grille surrounds and badging.
Jeep has several new vehicles up its sleeve, including the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Wrangler 4xe, and 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. The automaker ventures into the three-row segment for the first time with the introduction of the Grand Cherokee L. The Grand Cherokee L arrives with legendary 4×4 capability, improved on-road refinement, premium styling, and artisan craftsmanship inside and out. The Wrangler makes its presence known in two very different forms, pitting efficiency against performance. Jeep is showing off the all-new 4xe plug-in hybrid trim that offers 49 MPGe and 21 miles of all-electric range, while the 470-horsepower Rubicon 392 trim that runs 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 marks the return of a V8 engine under the hood of a Wrangler after 45 years, while the Wrangler 4xe is the first of its kind with zero emissions and a nearly silent ride.
Committed to redefining the next generation of American luxury vehicles, Jeep is in search of a new automotive icon with the Wagoneer brand. The all-new Wagoneer builds on the original premium SUV with modernized SUV credentials. Powerful powertrain combinations help the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer stand out even more, starting with a 5.7-liter V8 as the standard on the Wagoneer, while a 6.4-liter V8 engine is standard on the Grand Wagoneer. Premium driving dynamics and composed capability round out the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Grand Wagoneer models exude American refinement with an interior that’s elegant and for the first time ever Jeep offers a vehicle with a spacious third row and seating up to eight. Buyers can expect not only the latest Uconnect infotainment system, complete with an all-new head-up display, 75 inches of total screen surfaces, 360-degree surround view and night vision cameras, and the automotive industry’s most advanced McIntosh audio system that takes cabin sound to new heights, all offering an incomparable selection of premium interior features.
