What There is to Know About the 2020 Chrysler Voyager
Chrysler changed up its Pacifica lineup to make room for the entry-level model which has taken on a familiar name for the 2020 model year. An affordable option for those in need of a family hauler, the Voyager offers a comfortable ride, a solid cabin, and a user-friendly infotainment system. A solid list of standard technology features, a powerful and efficient V6 engine with good fuel economy, and sufficient passenger space and cargo room make the Voyager an easy choice for those in need of a peoplemover. Those in search of a minivan with modern features at an affordable price ($26,985 plus destination fee) should look no further than the Voyager.
The 2020 Voyager is a new minivan offering for the model year and essentially mirrors the 2018 and 2019 entry-level Chrysler Pacifica trims. Available upgrades on the Voyager include an advanced safety features package with Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and more. The Voyager sits up to seven passengers in three rows, while two second-row bench seats are the standard, although buyers can also upgrade to second-row bucket seats to make accessibility to the third row easier. Cargo space is ample thanks to the 32.3 cubic feet of space behind the third row, and 87.5 cubic feet behind the second row when the third one is folded down into the floor.
Just like on the Pacifica, the Voyager comes with third row Stow ‘n Go seats that allow owners to maximize cargo capacity. There’s no need to remove the seats, because like we mentioned earlier, they fold down into the floor. Other smaller storage spaces exist throughout the cabin and include other Stow ‘n Go in-floor cargo storage cubbies, storage bins and drawers that can hold common items such as tablets, phones, purses, and bags, along with a nifty front seat umbrella holder.
The Voyager comes in six different exterior colors: Billet Metallic, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, Bright White Clear Coat, Granite Crystal Metallic, Jazz Blue Pearl, and Velvet Red Pearl.
Interior color combinations are the following: Black, Toffee and Alloy.
An audio system with six speakers and active noise cancellation is standard.
There’s also a SafetyTec Group package that includes advanced safety features such as: blind-spot monitoring, rear cross path detection and ParkSense rear park assist with stop.
A 3.5-inch digital information display is standard, but there’s also a Uconnect infotainment system complete with a 7-inch touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
The Voyager is assembled alongside the Chrysler Pacifica model at the automaker’s Windsor, Ontario plant. Pricing begins at $26,985 (plus destination fee).
