A five-inch touchscreen display makes for a space-efficient and modern touch. The console bin has a USB charging port, remote SD card slot, and an audio jack. Some of the Jeep Cherokee Sport’s standard safety features are all-speed traction control, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and bi-function halogen projector LED running headlights. Interior safety features include advanced multistage front airbags, knee airbags for both driver and the front seat passenger, and supplemental rear seat airbags and side-curtain airbags for the front and back seats. For those looking for a more upscale Cherokee trim, the 2016 Jeep Cherokee Limited offers many of the modern features available and the two-wheel drive trim has a starting price of $28,995.Exterior upgrades on the Limited trim are 18-inch polished aluminum wheels and Continental brand tires, and a windshield wiper de-icer.
The Limited’s seats have been upgraded with leather-trimmed bucket seats, the two front seats are heated, and there is in-seat cushion storage on the passenger seats. Buyers have the option of six different interior colors. The Cherokee Limited has four charging ports including a three 12-volt power outlets, and one 115-volt power outlet, which is perfect for camping.
Additional options that buyers can choose to add-on to their purchase are a wireless charging pad that allows the driver and passengers to charge their mobile devices without the clutter of wires, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
