2018 Jeep Model Highlights

When it comes to Jeep, they never disappoints when it comes to new year models. Let’s take a look at the new features coming to the lineup in 2018…

2018 Jeep Renegade

The Jeep Renegade expands the Jeep brand’s lineup as a small sport-utility vehicle combined with exceptional off-roading capabilities. For 2018, all Renegade models have been upgraded with a ParkView rear backup camera as well as increased storage capacity due to an increase in cabin size. The 2018 Renegade Sport has been upgraded with a standard 5-inch touchscreen, Uconnect 5.0, six speakers, and Bluetooth with hands free voice command and dialling.

Buyers that want the most up-to-date tech on the market will want to check out the Jeep Renegade Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk trims because they all come standard with the Uconnect 4 system with a 7-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Starting MSRP for the 2018 Jeep Renegade is $17,995.

2018 Jeep Cherokee

The 2018 Jeep Cherokee transforms the mid-size SUV into an exceptional off-roading vehicle with 4×4 capabilities, adaptable functionalities, and more than 70 safety and security features and user-friendly technology. Upgraded for 2018, the Cherokee Latitude is equipped with 17-inch aluminum wheels, HID (high-intensity discharge) headlamps, and a rear backup camera. In addition, the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk adds some new safety standard features, including ParkSense Rear Backup Warning plus Dual-zone/Automatic Temperature Control. Starting MSRP is $23,695

2018 Jeep Compass

The all-new 2018 Jeep Compass embodies FCA’s “small-wide 4×4 architecture” for best in-class off-road capability and superior on-road performance. Offered in just four trims – Sport, Latitude,Trailhawk and Limited – each Compass comes standard 6 speakers, Integrated Voice Command with Bluetooth, Remote USB port for the second row, and a media hub with USB and AUX ports.

The 2018 Jeep Compass has an excellent 8.5-inch ground clearance and a refined interior cabin with top-of-the-line technology. Equipped with a fuel efficient 2.4-liter MultiAir Tigershark engine, the Compass produces 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Buyers have the option of three transmissions: Class-exclusive nine-speed automatic for 4×4 models, six-speed automatic transmissions for 4×2 models and finally, six speed manual transmission for 4×2 and 4×4 models. MSRP for the 2018 Jeep Compass starts at $20,995

2018 Jeep Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is the most recognized Jeep model in the world. From it’s iconic rugged good looks to it’s undeniable off-roading capabilities – there really is no other vehicle quite like the Wrangler. 2018 Wrangler/ Wrangler Unlimited models feature a “Wrangler JK” decal on the driver’s side front quarter panel and an optional premium tan soft top on the Wrangler/ Wrangler Unlimited Freedom and Rubicon Recon models.

In addition to all of the standard trims, the Wrangler/ Wrangler Unlimited lineup has three exceptional trims on the 2018 lineup, the JK Golden Eagle Edition, Freedom Edition, and Altitude Edition. Starting MSRP for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is $27,895.

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the most awarded SUV in the country, and this year it the celebrates its 25th birthday with a new trim, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Guaranteed to be the fastest and most powerful two-row SUV on the street, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk offers drivers a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 707 horses and 645 lb-ft of torque. Due to the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk’s engine and tuning, it accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and it can finish a quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds!  

All 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee models come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an upgraded Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen. Another cool feature to commemorate the Grand Cherokee’s 25 years of excellence is the “25th Anniversary” badge available on Limited models. Along with the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, the Grand Cherokee Summit and SRT trims receive a new Premium Metal package that complements perfectly the interior and numerous top-of-the-line real metal accents.

Additionally, the Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition makes its return this year. Notable features of the Grand Cherokee High Altitude include 20-inch wheels, Gloss Black grille, Jeep Active Safety Group, Blind spot monitoring and a dual panel sunroof. Additionally, Active noise cancellation is now a standard amenity on models that are equipped with the available nine-speaker Alpine audio system. Starting MSRP for the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee is $30,395
