2021 Chrysler Voyager Guide
Under new parent company Stellantis, the Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler Voyager stand alone after the old Dodge Grand Caravan and Journey models were discontinued in 2020. The 2021 Voyager model serves as Stellantis’ entry-level family hauler where the price point goes a long way. Here’s what to expect from the 2021 Chrysler Voyager:
Touted as America’s most affordable minivan, the 2021 Chrysler Voyager actually comes with an impressive list of standard and available features. There’s a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that’s standard under the hood — it produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. All Chrysler Voyager minivans, regardless of trim, seat up to seven passengers in standard form and feature voice control and standard smartphone integration systems such as Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto.
Arguably, this minivan’s biggest selling point is its safety record as the 2021 Chrysler Voyager achieved a full five-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The rating comes in large part thanks to the vehicle’s seven airbags, daytime running lights, brake assist features, and other standard safety features buyers have come to expect. Other advanced safety features new to the 2021 Chrysler Voyager include Pedestrian Detection with Automatic Emergency Braking and Full-Speed Forward Collision Alert.
Buyers can also enjoy a new, lower black grille and a captivating Ocean Blue Metallic exterior paint option. A power driver’s seat comes standard, while optional features include an overhead DVD player and tri-zone manual climate control — perfect for any road trip! The 2021 Chrysler Voyager also has available Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Parking Sensors. The interior of the cabin features a 7-inch Uconnect infotainment display and a six-speaker audio sound system with active noise cancellation.
Chrysler also offers rear- and side-entry conversions for the Voyager model that make entry and access easier all while opening up more room in the cabin. Wheelchair and scooter storage options are vastly improved thanks to Chrysler’s available modifications, while there’s even an enhanced ramp securing system that also aids in the practical transportation of mobility vehicles. Additionally, Chrysler also manufactures an LXi fleet-only trim that comes with leatherette seats, a roof rack, second-row retractable sunshades, and remote start. The 2021 Chrysler Voyager has a starting MSRP of $27,535 (plus destination fee).
