2021 Jeep Gladiator Texas Trail Celebrates New Badge of Honor Trails

April 16th, 2021 by

Jeep is charting new paths, this time in the Lone Star state, as the automaker gives Texans their very own Gladiator Texas Trail. Given that Texas houses the largest truck market in the country, it’s easy to see why the automaker was eager to deliver an exclusive Texas product. The 2021 Gladiator Texas Trail is based on the Gladiator Sport S trim and delivers next-level personalized content as well as a distinct appearance. Needless to say, the 2021 Gladiator doesn’t skimp on legendary 4×4 capability.

“The Jeep brand recognizes that Texas and America’s southwest are the center of the truck universe. Special editions allow us to connect with our passionate customers, and the Jeep Gladiator Texas Trail further broadens the appeal of the most capable Jeep pickup yet,” said Jim Morrison, Vice President Jeep Brand North America.

Jeep isn’t only celebrating the launch of the Gladiator Texas Trail, the automaker is also commemorating the addition of two new Texas trails to its Badge of Honor program. Off-road enthusiasts and Jeep diehards are invited to join the brand’s Badge of Honor via its mobile app to conquer trails and earn unique badges to be applied to their Jeep vehicles. Texas now hosts two new Badge of Honor trails, including Black Gap 4×4 trails in Big Bend National Park and Northwest OHV Park in Bridgeport, Texas. The 2021 Jeep Gladiator Texas Trail is now available throughout dealers in the state of Texas.

Adding to the 2021 Jeep Gladiator lineup, the new Texas Trail edition marks the first time Jeep pays homage to the largest truck market in the nation. The 2021 Gladiator Texas Trail comes standard with 17-inch Mid-Gloss Black aluminum wheels, 32-inch mud terrain tires, a two-speed transfer case, low-range gear ratio, and Jeep Command-Trac 4×4 system — entirely beefed up to handle off-roading trails in Texas. A rugged exterior highlights the model’s added capability with a unique Texas Trail hood and tailgate decals including a 1836 badge that tips its hat to the Texas Declaration of Independence.

The Sport S-based Gladiator Texas Trail also includes standard side steps, a black hardtop, black leather seats complete with an embossed Texas Trail graphic, the Trailer Tow Group package, and the Technology Group with 7-inch radio and Convenience Group package. Engineered from the ground up to be the most capable and off-road-ready Jeep truck ever, the Gladiator Texas Trail is available with the new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 or the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6.
