2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Named to Wards 10 Best Interiors for 2021
The all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, complete with its luxurious, spacious cabin and modern amenities, has been named one of Wards 10 Best Interiors for 2021. That’s right, a huge win for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L a mere few months after its launch.

This all-new interior features a much more focused approach to attention to detail of materials and design as a system. Jeep carefully crafted the interior of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L for each trim level, tailoring the vehicle to deliver a truly unique experience. Structural accents carefully accentuate dimension within, highlighting overall symmetry. Jeep angled and proportioned the instrument panel, creating spaciousness throughout the cabin that’s clad in an expressive contrat of sleek modern technologies and warm authentic materials. Buyers can enjoy 10-inch digital display screens and the five-times-fast Uconnect 5 infotainment system.
Jeep also introduced a new premium package alongside the Grand Cherokee L. The Summit Reserve Package sets the benchmark for luxury in the full-size SUV segment thanks to its premium quilted Palermo leather, memory and massage front seats, ventilated front and second-row seating, and an available Tupelo interior shade that adds distinguishable flair to the vehicle. Additional features include a full suite of all-new customizable interior LED lighting, complete with daytime/nighttime settings. True ambient lighting with a five-color selection that’s standard on all Overland and Summit trims makes for a personalized sensory experience.
The automaker also introduced an all-new Jeep seating architecture on the Grand Cherokee L, featuring a new length-adjustable cushion for the front row on the Overland and Summit trims. Additionally, for the first time ever in a Jeep model, both the second and third-row vents are placed in the pillars as opposed to being placed traditionally overhead, to improve passenger comfort without compromising visibility or headroom. Jeep’s interior design team even partnered with McIntosh for an advanced high-performance audio system that’s the pinnacle of high-definition sound. The partnership between the two giants yielded a vehicle audio system with the same level of design quality and authenticity that’s found on McIntosh home audio products. The 19-speaker, 950-watt audio system highlights the update and premium feel of the Grand Cherokee L’s new interior design.
Wards and its editorial staff selected the winners after thoroughly evaluating 33 vehicles. Contenders for the award are required to be either completely new or significantly redesigned for the 2021 model year. Wards editors scored vehicles on ergonomics, fit-and-finish, comfort, aesthetics, and overall material quality.
