Beneath the hood of every 2023 Jeep Renegade lies a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine. What’s New for 2023?

The biggest change to the 2023 Jeep Renegade lineup is the discontinuation of front-wheel drive. All 2023 Jeep Renegade vehicles now come standard with all-wheel drive. Jeep also did away with the introductory Sport trim level, meaning that leaves the Latitude trim as the entry-level tier. Other 2023 model year revisions on the Jeep Renegade include a revamping of equipment packages, including the Premium Group which is now available on the Latitude trim and offers features such as a power driver’s seat, roof rails, a windshield wiper deicer, heated steering wheel and front seats, and cornering fog lamps. Meanwhile, the Limited trim now features standard Adaptive Cruise Control, as well as a newly-available High Altitude Package which adds black badges, neutral gray grille rings, and Granite Crystal 19-inch wheels. Jeep added Detonator Yellow to the pain palette options as well.

Exterior Features

The 2023 Jeep Renegade exterior is refreshed with its rugged body forms and aggressive proportions despite the Renegade being the brand’s smallest SUV offering. The 2023 Jeep Renegade includes tow hooks and numerous wheel and tire combos. Jeep offers buyers various packages, including an LED Lighting Group that adds LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, daytime running lights, and cornering fog lamps. Lower body side-cladding and monotone paint are standard across all trims, but side roof rails vary from black to chrome depending on the trim. For customers interested in an immersive Jeep experience of open-air feeling, there are the My Sky Power retractable/removable panels offered as an optional upgrade across the entire Renegade lineup.

Interior Features

As with the exterior changes, the interior of the 2023 Jeep Renegade is no different. Jeep kept the Renegade’s odd shapes, as well as its small design surprises, including maps imprinted into the cupholders, as well as other surprises throughout. The 2023 Jeep Renegade offers the following standard features: steering wheel-mounted audio controls, a height-adjustable rear cargo floor, a front center sliding armrest, and cargo tie-down loops. Storage solutions eclipse the competition thanks to the Renegade’s chairs that fold flat for optimal cargo room, mesh pockets for storage, and an adjustable cargo floor in the trunk.

Entertainment

The 2023 Jeep Renegade features Jeep’s latest Uconnect infotainment system, all broadcast on a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen display. Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, built-in Bluetooth connectivity, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio (with a one-year complimentary membership) all come standard on the 2023 Jeep Renegade. More advanced features, such as built-in navigation, are available on high-tier trims of the 2023 Renegade. Jeep also offers buyers a more powerful Kenwood sound system on select trims as well.

Safety Features and Warranty

The 2023 Jeep Renegade features an impressive set of standard safety features, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Parking Sensors, and a semi-autonomous feature which parallel parks when necessary, or finds a perpendicular spot. There are also more advanced driver-assistance technologies available, housed under the Advanced Safety Group (an available safety package) which includes Blind-Spot Monitoring with Emergency Braking, Lane-Assist and much more. All Jeep vehicles are covered by a 3-year or 36,000-mile basic warranty, a 5-year or 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, roadside assistance for five years or 100,000 miles, and rust-through coverage for five years or 100,000, whichever comes first. Complimentary maintenance is covered by Jeep for the first three years.
