Following the Wrangler’s update earlier this year (2024), Jeep has refreshed the rugged Gladiator for the new model year. The update also includes a starting price reduction of $1,725 for the Gladiator. The entry level Gladiator Sport now has a starting MSRP of $39,790 (plus destination fee)–while buyers upgrading to more luxurious and capable trims, such as the Rubicon and Mojave, can expect pricing above the $50,000-mark.

Mirroring the Wrangler, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon gains two new top-of-the-line trims: Mojave X and Rubicon X. These upgrades enhance the truck’s appeal with features like steel bumpers and luxurious 12-way power-adjustable leather seats. Additionally, these pricier trims further boost off-road capability by including a full-time transfer case and an integrated off-road camera as standard equipment. As the pinnacle of the 2024 Gladiator lineup, both X trims start at $64,890 (plus destination fee).

The 2024 Gladiator packs a 3.6-liter V6 engine under the hood, delivering 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Buyers have options! The Jeep Gladiator comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission for a more engaged driving experience. An eight-speed automatic transmission is also available for those who prefer a smoother ride. With proper equipment, the Gladiator can tow a hefty 7,700 pounds, making it a true contender in the towing game. Even the base Gladiator can handle a 4,000-pound trailer, surpassing the Wrangler’s limit of 3,500 pounds. The Gladiator’s bed is built to handle tough loads. Its capacity ranges from 1,105 to 1,700 pounds, depending on the configuration.

Interior Comforts

  • Familiar layout: The Gladiator’s upright dashboard mirrors the Wrangler’s, offering user-friendly controls within easy reach.
  • Built to last: Durable features like the waterproof push-button start ensure the cabin can handle the elements.
  • Comfort matters: Optional upgrades like a heated steering wheel and heated seats enhance comfort on long journeys.
  • Extra legroom: Thanks to a longer wheelbase compared to the Wrangler, passengers in the back seat benefit from additional legroom.
  • Open-air freedom: Removable body and roof panels transform the Gladiator into an open-air adventure companion.
  • Smart storage: The 5.5-foot cargo bed is complemented by clever storage solutions throughout the cabin. Smartphone holders, a hidden compartment under the rear seat, and versatile seating configurations cater to various needs. The seats can be folded in multiple ways and secured for off-road treks.

Tech & Infotainment

All Gladiators boast a user-friendly 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration. Upgrade your audio experience with an available subwoofer and a portable wireless speaker that can be mounted behind the rear seats for an immersive sound experience. Staying connected on the go is effortless thanks to multiple charging options for front-seat passengers, including two USB ports, a USB-C port, and a convenient 115-volt outlet.
