The 2024 Jeep Wrangler presents an extensive lineup with over 10 trims, including the Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon, Willys, High Altitude, High Tide, Sahara 4xe, Rubicon 4xe, and Rubicon 392. Powering the lineup is a standard 285-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine, available with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Additional powertrain options comprise a 3.0-liter diesel V6, the new plug-in hybrid 4xe, and the robust 6.4-liter V8 exclusive to the Rubicon 392 trim. All Wrangler models come equipped with standard part-time four-wheel drive, with the entry-level trims featuring the Command-Trac 4×4 system offering a 2.72:1 crawl ratio. Performance-oriented trims like the Rubicon and Rubicon 392 include the Rock-Trac 4×4 system with skid plates, tow hooks, Tru-Lok differentials, and a 4LO crawling ratio of 4:1. The optional Selec-Trac allows automatic switching to 4×4 mode based on driving conditions, with a user-controlled knob determining traction in various terrains such as snow, mud, rocks, sand, and challenging driving conditions.

For 2024, the Wrangler receives a subtle visual and technological refresh, showcasing an updated grille and introducing 10 new wheel designs. The interior is enhanced with a standard 12.3-inch infotainment display, replacing the smaller 5.0- and 7.0-inch screens from the previous year. This new display features the latest Jeep infotainment software, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The onboard navigation system covers over 2000 trails, with the option to download more. Jeep has improved the active noise-cancellation feature for a quieter cabin during phone calls. Additionally, the plug-in hybrid 4xe powertrain is now available on Sport and Rubicon X trims, and hybrid models gain a 3.6-kilowatt auxiliary battery for accessory power.

Unlike traditional convertibles, this power soft top operates at speeds up to 60 mph. The premium Sunrider soft top replaces zippers with a sliding track mechanism for easy removal. The three-piece hardtop option, including removable freedom panels, features improved latches for faster removal compared to the last-generation Wrangler.
