A Cause for Celebration with Jeeps 4×4 Day Social Contest
Jeep has announced Steven Scott from Poway, California, as the champion of its “Find Your Freedom” social contest, which launched in April of 2019 as part of the brand’s #4X4DAY celebration. Customers who pre-ordered the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition during the one-day opportunity were able to enter the “Find Your Freedom” contest, giving them the chance to win what the Gladiator offers: Jeep Freedom. They also had the opportunity to earn a one-year’s salary of $100,000, to enjoy time off with the Jeep.
To enter the social contest, purchasers had to submit a personal “Gladiator” video, which was judged by the Jeep brand alongside U.S. Army veteran Noah Galloway. The entire sum of 4,190 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition vehicles sold out in the one-day pre-order opportunity on Jeep 4×4 Day. The Jeep 4×4 Day it was on April 4, 2019.

The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator which is the most off-road capable midsize 4×4 crew cab truck ever, has been anticipated since its reveal November at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year. To celebrate the arrival in the Jeep showrooms, a limited-run Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition model was made available to those who took advantage of the special one-day-only. It was an online pre-order opportunity only on the Jeep 4×4 Day, April 4, at Jeep.com.
The all-new Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition comes equipped with interior accents and unique wheels, as well as an aluminum tailgate badge that said “One of 4,190”. The number is a testimony to Toledo, Ohio, and it’s 419 area code is where both Gladiator and the Jeep Wrangler are proudly built. Gladiator Launch Edition is limited to only 4,190 units in the U.S.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is arriving in Jeep showrooms now. For a limited time, joining the Gladiator lineup, the Launch Edition features a 33-inch Falken Wildpeak All-Terrain tires and 17-inch Mid Gloss Black aluminum wheels. It’s a wrapped instrument panel mid-bolster painted in Monaco silver and black leather seats with red accent stitching.
Available in Billet Silver Metallic, Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal Metallic and Firecracker Red, the Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition features fender flares and a body-color hardtop. Standard features included are the LED head and taillights, a nine-speaker Alpine premium sound system, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, keyless entry, Forward Facing TrailCam camera, Rear Cross Path detection, and Blind-spot Monitoring. Also included are ParkSense rear park assist system, Advanced Brake Assist, Full-Speed Forward Collision, Trail Rail Cargo Management System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, Spray-in bed liner and Trailer Tow.
Gladiator Rubicon is capable of towing 7,000 lbs. The Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition has a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. There’s a six-speed manual transmission, and there’s an optional eight-speed automatic transmission as well.

All Gladiator models come with a Trail Rated badge which indicates that the vehicle is sketched to execute in a variety of challenging off-road conditions. Five critical consumer-oriented performance categories identify them. Those categories consist of traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, articulation, and water fording.
Gladiator Rubicon models come with red tow hooks, Rock-Track 4×4 system, featuring a two-speed transfer case with a 4:1 low-range gear ratio. Also comes with front and rear heavy-duty Dana 44 axles, Tru-Lok® electric front- and rear-axle lockers. Segment-exclusive electronic sway bar disconnect, cab, and bedrock rails and standard 33-inch Falken Wildpeak All-Terrain off-road tires are also included.
