Advanced Technology and Safety Features Carry the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Far

Minivan sales may not be producing figures that are skyrocketing off the charts, but for the Chrysler Pacifica (especially the Pinnacle trim) that’s not the case. The minivan segment remains an important one in which automakers invest time, effort, and resources. Chrysler, long-considered the ultimate innovator of the minivan segment, poured over 40 years of experience into the latest Pacifica minivan and its top-tier Pinnacle trim. Its Latest updates give the Pacifica a new lease on life and certainly give it a boost as what’s possibly the best minivan ever.

Powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, the Chrysler Pacifica boasts 287 horsepower accompanied by a nine-speed automatic transmission. One of the only minivans to offer all-wheel drive, the Pacifica also comes in front-wheel-drive only as well for those who won’t be traversing challenging terrain. Chrysler also offers a hybrid variant, helping consumers optimize their monthly fuel budgets while enjoying 30 miles of all-electric range.

2021 Chrysler Pacifica Safety Features

Buyers can enjoy Forward Collision Mitigation with Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection as a standard feature on all trims of the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Adaptive Cruise Control with a Stop/Go function and Blind-Spot Monitoring With Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are both standards as well, reducing the likelihood of a collision in a vehicle that will always likely have several distracting family members on board. The top Pinnacle trim comes with the Safety Sphere Group which ass Parking Assistance for parallel and perpendicular spots, plus a 360-degree camera for improved visibility.

Interior Perks

Chrysler does away with what consumers have come to expect from minivans of the past. Anyone who hasn’t set foot in one of these people movers would be surprised to learn that the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is quite futuristic. Here’s a nice tidbit from the minivan’s interior: instead of a traditional gear lever, buyers will find a round dial that lets them choose between Park, Drive, Reverse, Neutral and more. Even parking the minivan requires nothing more than the push of a single button. Depending on the owner’s configuration — a second-row of captain’s chairs or three-person bench — the Chrysler Pacifica can accommodate either seven or eight occupants. Only the Pacifica Hybrid variant is limited to being a seven-seater as the battery takes up space and doesn’t allow for an eight-seating configuration.

Uconnect 5

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is the first Stellantis vehicle that comes with the latest infotainment system — Uconnect 5. A 10.1-inch touchscreen display is standard, while wireless Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, Amazon Alexa compatibility, TomTom navigation, and USB-C ports are all available upgrades on this model. Chrysler also offers a SiriusXM 360L streaming/satellite radio experience, sometimes complimentary for one year depending on the trim level and features.
