Chrysler Comes Out with Five Year Plan…Finally
Recently, Chrysler has come out with its five year plans for Dodge, Ram, and the Jeep brand with the theme of brand definition and purification. The last plan to be released was Chrysler’s but what they have in store for us over the next few years is excited and was certainly worth the wait.
The overarching goal for Chrysler is to hit sales of 800,000 units by 2018 which is 350,000 more units than sales in 2013. Our jaws dropped too, don’t worry. How will they reach this aggressive goal? This five year plan gives us confidence they can do it.
For 2015 a refreshed 300 sedan which will most likely be debuted at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Next up will be the new Chrysler 100, breaking Chrysler into a very important segment of the vehicle industry: C-Segment vehicles. Simultaneously, Chrysler will launch their new Town and Country which will have a plug-in hybrid model. For 2017 there will be a refresh of 2014’s 200 sedan. To round out the plan in an exciting (and very mysterious) way, Chrysler is planning for a midsize CUV with few details further than that.
