Chrysler Gives the 300 its Very Own Swan Song

In recent times, muscle car enthusiasts across the globe have been preoccupied with the impending departure of Dodge muscle cars, especially after the introduction of the brand’s “Last Call” special edition models. However, there’s another HEMI-powered vehicle that’s being overlooked in comparison to these Dodge counterparts–the Chrysler 300c. The Chrysler 300, now in its final model year, boasts a high-performance C variant that definitely deserves more attention. HEMI enthusiasts across the web are giving intimate and detailed explorations of the luxurious muscled-up sedan that’s equipped with a mighty HEMI V8 engine.
Having been on the market for 12 years, the second-generation Chrysler 300, even with a facelift in 2015, is nearing discontinuation as Chrysler makes room in its lineup for electrification. However, the model is determined to leave a lasting impression in 2023 with its 300c trim; standing as the most powerful iteration in the car’s entire history. Experts place the 2023 Chrysler 300c at 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque–power figures which exceed those of the now-defunct 300 SRT-8, discontinued a decade ago.
This particular Chrysler 300c is limited to three exterior color options: black, red, and white. It’s also important to note that Chrysler will only produce 2,000 units of the Chrysler 300c, so availability is limited. Buyers can expect sporty black accents, a black grille, and special-edition badges throughout the vehicle. There are also 20” black wheels and eye-catching red Brembo brake calipers.
While the 300c is undeniably athletic, it does feature plenty of luxurious elements seamlessly integrated into the performance-oriented design. Buyers will find features such as a sunroof, suede paneling, carbon fiber details throughout the cabin, and white stitching on the black leather upholstery. Speaking of performance, the Chrysler 300c is no slouch with its official 0-60 mph time of just 4.3 seconds, showcasing its impressive acceleration given its weight class. The model offers plenty of torque, making it easy to effortlessly cruise down the highway.
Priced at $55,495 (plus destination fee), the 2023 Chrysler 300c is a remarkable sedan in a sputtering segment. It combined extraordinary power and performance with luxurious functionality. It is perhaps the finest iteration of the 300 that Chrysler has delivered in its history. The only caveat? Those interested in getting behind the wheel of the 2023 Chrysler 300c are limited to just 2,000 units from the automaker. Although destined to be discontinued in its gasoline-powered form, the future of the Chrysler 300 remains unclear, but Chrysler’s decision to deliver a remarkable swan song of the 300 will certainly go down in the automotive history books.
