Cruising the Champs-Élysées With Jeep

May 15th, 2019 by

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is truly dedicated to making Jeep a success around the globe. In fact, the most peculiar sight can be seen while strolling on the famed Champs-Élysées. Notoriously referred to as one of the most beautiful avenues in the world, laden with luxurious shopping opportunities, the Champs-Élysées is the last place we imagined we’d find what we can refer to as an international showcase and flagship for the Jeep brand.

Nestled in the heart of Paris, the MotorVillage hosting the Jeep Sense experience at the Champs-Élysées is bustling with American car culture and Italian lifestyle thanks to its tiny gourmet restaurant aptly named NoLita. Originally designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte as a garage for small cars suitable for children, the MotorVillage building offers five different floors showcasing the Jeep lineup.

Interested parties can enjoy the MotorVillage Jeep Sense experience until the end of May (2019) complete with five floors and five atmospheres. The Compass is juxtaposed against make-believe American Canyons, while the Wrangler sits smack-dab in the middle of the entryway as it blends into a jungle to simulate an off-the-beaten-path experience. There’s also the Renegade laid out before a cityscape and the Grand Cherokee that showcases its full power among many other surprises.

As we mentioned earlier the jungle welcomes visitors. A Jeep Wrangler is situated front and center in a setting that showcases its strengths as the most efficient Jeep vehicle to veer off the beaten path on. The entryway is Jeep’s way of saying “the jungle belongs to you, can you find your place among our lineup as you set out on this new adventure?”

The first level showcases the Jeep brand support for the World Surf League (WSL) since 2015 as an official, global and exclusive automotive partner. A series of mini-films feature the best surfers on the WSL as Jeep showcases the versatility of the Wrangler that often functions as a beach buggy. The best surf spots are often hard to reach and without risk, there’s no reward – Jeep 4×4 vehicles can get you there over rocks, through water if necessary and across sand dunes. Jeep can help you reach that perfect wave. The WSL gets a special section here as Jeep is an official partner of theirs, but as we mentioned earlier the other rooms have different decor and are intended to show off the versatility of the Jeep lineup.

Guests who aren’t ready to take the plunge and buy a Jeep right away can opt to shop at the on-site pop-up shop that Jeep has established. The MotorVillage boutique has been transformed as the go-to place for adventure enthusiasts in France to purchase Jeep accessories and attire. Additionally, there are interesting trinkets from partner Agent Paper that will require Jeep devotees to rely on their dexterity to assemble their various decals and other original creations. The Wild & Wolf brand also has a reserved space to showcase their unique lifestyle products as well.

While the Jeep Sense experience in the Champs-Élysées will be finished come the end of May 2019, it’s still rewarding to see the amount of effort Jeep puts into expanding their brand recognition worldwide. According to FCA’s ambitious five-year plan that was unveiled during the Summer of 2018, the brand wants global customers to choose Jeep in one of every 12 utility vehicles after Jeep’s massive expansion across the globe is finished. Statistics currently indicate that this number is one in 17 utility vehicles sold. Follow Hollywood Chrysler Jeep on social media to stay up to date on the best Jeep news.
