Jeep Adds Another Special Edition Shade to the Wrangler, Gladiator Lineup
Calling all sand lovers! Jeep just announced it’ll be adding its Gobi paint shade as an available color option for the 2022 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models. Inspired by the Asian Desert that bears the same name, Gobi joins Jeep’s unique lineup of exceptional colors that add an even greater touch of customization. Gobi first debuted on the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, but now it makes an anticipated comeback to the lineup. 2022 marks the first time Gobi is available on the Jeep Wrangler lineup.
“Customization is at the core of both Jeep Gladiator and Jeep Wrangler. Gobi is the fifth special-edition color the Jeep brand has offered on the current generations of Gladiator and Wrangler, in addition to Tuscadero, Gecko, Nacho and Chief, all of which strengthen the enthusiastic identity of our loyal and avid Jeep community,” said Jim Morrison, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep brand North America.
Gobi is priced at $495 and can now be ordered as an option through June of 2022.

2022 Jeep Wrangler
Highlights of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler include the availability of the TrailCam feature, a forward-facing off-road camera that’s accessible via the vehicle’s Off-road Pages through the 8.4-inch touchscreen display. The Off-Road Plus feature on the Wrangler Rubicon trim automatically adjusts throttle, transmission shift points, and overall traction control. As for the insanely popular Sky One-touch Power-Top, it remains exclusive to four-door Wrangler models, but the ability to open or close the Wrangler’s roof with the simple push of a button is alluring. Consumers can use the Sky One-touch Power-Top at speeds up to 60 mph – even better than a conventional convertible!
2022 Jeep Gladiator
For 2022, the Jeep Gladiator sees larger infotainment screens, a new Silver Zynith exterior shade, and a standard cabin filtration system tasked with removing up to 95 percent of particulates. The Gladiator Sport trim now comes standard with a 7-inch Uconnect 4 infotainment display, while the Overland, Rubicon, and Mojave trims now feature an 8.4-inch infotainment display instead, along with navigation, an Alpine audio system, and keyless entry.
