Jeep Brings the Electric Boogie Woogie to the Super Bowl

Jeep’s one-minute commercial for the 2023 Super Bowl, “Electric Boogie,” celebrates the brand’s foray into electrified powertrains, taking the iconic song and giving it a new interpretation more in line with the automaker’s new generation of models. The commercial, which debuted during the Big Game, highlights Jeep’s Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe models with various species from the animal kingdom dancing along to the latest “Electric Boogie” track. Enthusiasts can enjoy the ad across the brand’s social media channels. The spot was created to appeal globally and support the ongoing rollout of Jeep’s electrified portfolio.
“This new campaign showcases our global 4xe electrification portfolio by capturing and celebrating the fun, light-hearted spirit of the Jeep brand. We continue to design and develop the most capable and sustainable Jeep SUVs to date, and this is why we say that 4xe is the new 4×4. This is a forward-thinking strategy on our path to becoming the leading zero-emission SUV brand in the world, ensuring that millions of Jeep fans continue to have a planet to explore, embrace and protect,” said Christian Meunier, Jeep Brand CEO.
Jeep is also inviting its enthusiasts from around the world to join the movement with Tik Tok dancers, using the #Jeep4xeBoogieWoogie hashtag. The spot was created in tandem with Chicago-based agency Highdive and ties into the brand’s earth-inspired spot, “Earth Odyssey,” from 2022. The ad highlights the unique ability of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe to operate in silence, ceding the floor to the anthropomorphic animals. The animation was created by The Mill and Jeep did not interfere with any of the animals as they did the Boogie Woogie, Woogie.
This marks the first time Jeep creates an ad for the Big Game to be used at a global level, in support of the automaker’s continuous expansion of its operations worldwide. Jeep, which sells vehicles to more than 100 countries across the globe, acquired global rights for the song and will implement the campaign worldwide. The brand recently announced a comprehensive plan for its electrification process, in which 50 percent of Jeep sales in the U.S. are predicted to be fully electric by 2023, while aiming for 100 percent of European sales to be electric at the time.
Jeep also announced audiophiles will be pleased with the latest state-of-the-art SiriusXM with 360L audio entertainment platform, available on its latest 4xe offerings like the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company, was the first to offer 360L, SiriusXM’s most advanced audio entertainment platform. Available on the electrified 4xe lineup, 360L offers buyers more SiriusXM channels, “For You” recommendations, a Live Sports genre, Pandora stations, and much more.
