Jeep Events in Early 2016
Jeep has a loyal base of drivers and buyers. There are local “Jeep” groups located across the United States (In South Florida, there’s a South Florida Jeep Club) and there are also annual Jeep events where Jeep enthusiasts get together to use their Jeeps to their full potential — off-roading.
Here’s a couple Jeep events planned for the beginning of 2016.
Rocks and Roads Tour
This is an annual on and off-road driving event that takes place in several cities. Adventurous Jeep owners get to interact as they maneuver through obstacles on paved highway and rocky roads. Dates still pending but the event usually takes place through July and continues to October.
This year’s first Jeep Jamboree is scheduled from March 3-5 in in the Table Mesa Recreation region of Anthem, Ariz. Friends and families get to enjoy the desert landscape as they explore rough terrain with stream, hills and boulders in their 4×4 Jeeps. Coaches and guides are with the attendees the whole way.
Aside from Arizona, the event is scheduled to take place in more than 30 other locations in North America on different dates.
Camp Jeep is an obstacle course that travels around to major car shows and exhibitions in North America. Show attendees can ride different Jeep models to experience how Jeeps handle low-traction, steep inclines and to feel and how stable it is. Though it takes place indoors, the setup is such that it simulates the real outdoors. Camp Jeep will be available at the The Chicago Auto Show, which will be open to the public on Feb. 16-21.
Easter Jeep Safari
This year’s Easter Jeep Safari is scheduled for March 19-27. Jeep owners head out to make day-long guided trips through 40 different trails in Moab, Utah.
