Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT and Dodge Durango SRT
A few months ago Dodge unveiled the Dodge Durango SRT and that means there’s finally a competitor with the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. Here’s how the two compare.
The biggest differences between the two models are style and size. The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is a two-row five-passenger SUV and the Dodge Durango SRT is a three-row six-passenger SUV. Both models are fiercely styled, and the Grand Cherokee definitely embodies the traditional Jeep look, whereas the Dodge Durango SRT looks a little more similar to other SUVs on the road. Additionally, the Grand Cherokee features a dual-pane sunroof and the Durango is equipped with a single-pane sunroof.
Aside from those things, both models are fairly similar. Both the Dodge Durango SRT and the Jeep Grand Cherokee are equipped with the SRT-tuned 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine and both SUVs generate 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Both models are equipped with high-performance Brembo brakes, leather seating and Uconnect’s advanced Uconnect 8.4 system and an 8.4-inch touchscreen.
However, it is important to note that the Dodge Durango will not be available until sometime in late 2017, but the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is available now. You can view our Jeep Grand Cherokee inventory online here.
