Jeep Introduces New Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon
Jeep just announced a sweet addition to the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited lineups, the Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition. Built for Jeepers that love pushing their off-road vehicle to its limit, the Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition has improved components to help it conquer all types of terrains and trails.
The Wrangler Rubicon Recon is an excellent rock climber as it’s standard manual transmission has a crawl ratio of 73.1:1 and electronic-locking front and rear Dana 44 axles. Other improvements include a half-inch lift and heavy-duty cast front and rear differential covers.
The Wrangler Rubicon Recon rides on 17-inch painted aluminum wheels wrapped in 32-inch BF Goodrich KM off-road tires. However, the vehicle’s new enhanced rock rails provide enough space for owners to increase tire size of 35 inches without needing to modify the vehicle’s body
Jeep spruced up the new model’s interior with a lot of excellent convenience features. Jeep’s Connectivity Group, Power Convenience Group, Satellite Radio, remote starter and auto temperature control are standard. There is also an eight-speaker audio system, black leather heated seats with a “Rubicon” embroidered logo and red accents throughout. The vehicle is also fitted with a premium Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) with added readouts, such as oil pressure, transmission and coolant temperatures, digital speed and individual tire pressure.
The new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon will be available at Hollywood Chrysler Jeep at the end of February. If you need a new Jeep before then, come by and test drive a new model today.
