Jeep Introduces Two New Packages for the 2023 Grand Cherokee
Jeep just introduced two brand-new packages on its Grand Cherokee lineup, giving enthusiasts even more reasons to be excited about the iconic SUV. Revamped for the 2023 model year, the Jeep Grand Cherokee doesn’t shy away from forward-facing modern technology features while keeping its rugged off-road spirit intact.
Grand Cherokee Laredo X
Loved for its exquisite design, the Grand Cherokee Laredo is already a fan favorite. It also helps that the model comes with a spacious interior and advanced technologies as well. Now, with the introduction of the Laredo X package, enthusiasts can enjoy even more features on the base model. Buyers can expect a single-pane sunroof and 18-inch fully-painted aluminum wheels.
Jeep also offers buyers an Altitude Package, which adds black gloss exterior accents, roof rails, 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, and a unique seven-slot grille that’s standard across Jeep vehicles. The Altitude Package also features heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, remote start, a wireless charging pad, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an adjustable liftgate, and a 115-volt power outlet.

Enthusiasts who want the best of both worlds can count on the Jeep Altitude X package going forward. Combining the blacked-out Altitude Package with some other high-key amenities such as a single-pane sunroof make this an excellent SUV. The Grand Cherokee Laredo and Altitude trims already offer buyers a luxurious and comfortable interior cabin, as well as class-leading legroom in the second row. Buyers who opt for the Grand Cherokee L model with its three rows of seating can also enjoy class-leading third-row capacity and increased cargo volume.
All 2023 Grand Cherokee vehicles, regardless of trim, come standard with advanced safety and security features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Lane Management, Lane Departure Warning, Advanced Brake Assist, Rear Parking Sensors, Blind-Spot Monitoring, and Full-Speed Collision Warning with Active Brake, and more.
Beneath the hood of the Grand Cherokee Laredo X and Grand Cherokee Altitude X lies a robust 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, capable of generating up to 290 horsepower and 257 lb-ft of torque. All Grand Cherokee models come equipped with a TorqueFlite eight speed transmission. Additionally, the SUV also offers buyers standard heated fold-away mirrors with heating elements, blind spot indicators, cloth upholstery with a power 8-way driver and manual front-passenger seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic dual-zone climate controls, paddle shifters, and integrated voice command courtesy of Bluetooth.
