Jeep Partners its Wrangler 4xe With Volta Charging as the Plug-In Hybrid Rolls Out
Jeep tapped Volta Charging — an industry leader when it comes to commerce-centric electric vehicle charging networks — to help roll out its all-new Jeep Wrangler 4xe to consumers. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe marks the first time Jeep offers an electrified vehicle in its lineup, making the all-new plug-in hybrid the brand’s first foray into the electric vehicle segment. Demand for the all-new Wrangler 4xe is through the roof. In fact, the month of April — coinciding with the model’s official launch — saw the Wrangler 4xe rank as the second best-selling vehicle in the U.S.
“As the new Jeep Wrangler 4xe becomes firmly established in the marketplace, this unique network takeover with Volta industries allows the brand to reach drivers at key moments in their daily commutes as they charge their vehicles. Volta’s charging stations are considered unique because they feature large, eye-catching digital displays that provide an optimal content-viewing experience for drivers that stop for a charge. Jeep brand campaign videos will be shown in select California markets on Volta’s charging stations throughout July 2021 to raise awareness of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Additionally, this latest campaign stands out because it also uses Volta Charging’s dynamic weather-based ad capability to showcase two different creative concepts from the automaker. For example, when the weather is sunny, the advertisement features a Jeep Wrangler 4xe with the top down, cruising and exploring, while the second ad emphasizes that the Jeep Wrangler 4xe is a go-to vehicle no matter the weather conditions.
“Drivers nationwide are ready to make the change from gas to electric-powered vehicles, and supporting the Jeep brand in the launch of one of its new and highly anticipated electric vehicles is another example of the large infrastructural shift of electrification of mobility. Partnering with the Jeep brand to promote the Jeep Wrangler 4xe on Volta Charging’s network of stations and its media platform, located where consumers already go, will help to prove the accessibility of EV adoption,” said Scott Mercer, founder and CEO of Volta Charging.
Volta Chargin’s digital media network reaches a diversified audience of more than 70 million consumers in 14 of the 15 largest designated market areas. Additionally, Volta’s media charging stations offer brands the ability to engage viewers via a dynamic content experience. Allegedly, brands that are currently running campaigns on Volta charging stations are experiencing increased brand awareness, thus leading to increased purchase intent. Other brands who have partnered with Volta Charging in the past also reported that Volta charging stations increased overall spend, dwell time, and engagement on site.
