Jeep Previews Footwear Collab With Merrell at NAIAS
Jeep is teaming up with Merrell, the foremost global brand in hiking and outdoor footwear to introduce the Merrell Moab 3 Mid x Jeep, a hiking boot that draws inspiration from the rich legacies of these two iconic brands.
The exclusive Merrell Moab 3 Mid x Jeep brand boot hits the market on Monday, October 16, 2023, and will be sold in eight countries in both men’s and women’s sizes. Those who want to stay updated on the launch can visit merrell.com/jeep to sign up for notifications. This boot is available in three stylish color options, featuring the beloved Jeep brand hues of Sarge Green, Sting Grey, and Hydro Blue. Jeep offered a sneak peek of the boot during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) at Huntington Place in Detroit (from September 13 to September 24, 2023). NAIAS holds a significant position as one of the most influential automotive events globally, making it the perfect stage for the two Michigan-based brands to unveil their collaboration.

Special Features & Easter Eggs
Merrell has artfully integrated distinctive design elements as a tribute to the concealed “Easter eggs” frequently discovered in Jeep 4x4s. These unique features include:
- Upper mesh that was chosen to resemble the hexagon pattern on the Wrangler grille
- Larger heel webbing hook, representing the seat belts
- Jeep brand’s iconic seven-slot grille embossed in backstay
- Unique footbed inserts that feature a topographical map of Hell’s Revenge, a popular off-road trail in Moab, Utah
- Custom-molded Rubicon badging, representing the most capable Wrangler for the world’s best-selling hiking boot
- Red “tow” lace hooks, representing the red tow hooks on the front of the Wrangler Rubicon
- Metal lace hardware, representing the hatches on the Jeep 4×4 hood
- Monochromatic color scheme that mimics iconic Jeep 4×4 exterior colors
To mark the launch, Merrell is hosting a giveaway for a Jeep Wrangler. Participation requires no purchase, and individuals can submit one entry each. The sweepstakes commences on Monday, October 23, 2023, and concludes on Monday, November 6, 2023. Eligible participants from the U.S., Canada, Peru, and Panama can enter. The collaborative product will be available in the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, China, Japan, Peru, Panama, and Colombia while inventory lasts.
