Jeep Unveils the 2024 Wrangler

April 9th, 2023 by

Jeep unveiled its 2024 Jeep Wrangler model, extending the iconic vehicle’s lineage as the most capable and recognized vehicle across the globe. Building on its legendary history, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler remains authentic thanks to its advanced powertrains, superior on- and off-road dynamics, advanced safety tech features, and recognizable Jeep design. Buyers can expect even greater capability from the 2024 Wrangler as the lineup expands to include new technology, advanced safety features, all while staying true to its Wrangler nature without compromising the freedom to go anywhere and do anything.

Jeep expands the Wrangler’s capabilities thanks to its first full-float Dana rear axle, an available 100:1 crawl ratio, increased 5,000-pound tow capacity, and a new factory Warn winch. As for the interior cabin, buyers can expect more comfort and safety, a standard 12.3-inch Uconnect  5 touchscreen infotainment display, standard side curtain airbags in the first and second rows, and available power front seats.

“The Jeep Wrangler is the archetypal adventure hero, embodying the spirit and the soul of the Jeep brand. Since its introduction, we have sold almost 5 million Wranglers around the world, setting new levels of 4×4 capability with each new generation. Today, we are raising the bar once again by combining the most capable Wrangler to date, with more technology, comfort and safety features. This is a no-compromise combination enhanced by the freedom to choose from four different powertrains, including our electrified 4xe, which is the best-selling PHEV in America,” said Christian Meunier, Jeep Brand CEO.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler is available in six trims, Sport, Willys, Sahara, High Altitude, Rubicon, and Rubicon 392. Order books for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler are already open, with vehicles programmed to arrive in dealerships later in 2023. The 2024 Wrangler builds on its legacy of adventure and freedom, a testament to its loyal fan base and just how well Jeep nurtures that relationship.

Zero Emission Freedom

Continuing its run as the best-selling PHEV in America for two consecutive years, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe continues to build on Jeep’s goal of Zero Emission Freedom–the automaker’s effort to build the greenest SUV brand across the globe. The brand hopes to make the most capable and sustainable SUVs available on the market, with the Jeep Wrangler 4xe playing a rather large role in the automaker’s plans. Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company, plans to cut its global carbon footprint by 50 percent by 2030, hoping to lead the automotive industry with net-carbon-zero status by 2038 at the latest. Jeepers can expect a fully electrified Jeep lineup by the end of 2025, with a target number of 50 percent of Jeep brand sales in the U.S. to be electric by 2030, while 100 percent of Jeep sales in Europe will be fully electric.
