Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator Earn a Spot on KBB’s 2021 Best Resale Value Awards
Kelley Blue Book (KBB) recently named the 2021 Jeep Gladiator and 2021 Jeep Wrangler to its list of 2021 Best Resale Value awards. This marks the 11th consecutive year in which the Jeep Wrangler earns a highly coveted spot on KBB’s Top 10 list that explicitly celebrates the vehicle’s retained resale value. Additionally, the Wrangler model continues to lead the off-road category, making 2021 the third consecutive year the model tops the Off-Road SUV segment. Models from sister brand Ram Trucks, such as the 2021 Ram 1500 and Ram 2500/3500, also made the list, giving parent company Stellantis quite a boost.
“Shoppers who choose to buy a 2021 model from one of our Best Resale Value Brand winners can be very confident that their vehicle will retain its value well over time, ” states Eric Ibara, Director of Residual Values for Kelley Blue Book.
KBB bases its Best Resale Value Awards on projections from the publication’s long standing Official Residual Value Guide, with final determinations left up to a skilled staff of automotive analysts. Any distinction awarded by KBB carries its own weight and these are no exception as the Resale Value awards honor vehicles that are expected to retain the largest proportion of their original value after five years of ownership.
