Mopar and Jeep Concepts Shine at the 2021 SEMA Show

November 3rd, 2021 by

Mopar kicked off this year’s (2021) Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show with a bang. The aftermarket parts and accessories manufacturer recently teased several sketches of custom vehicles. Now, said vehicles are officially on display inside Mopar’s exhibit at the famed Las Vegas show starting Nov. 2-5.

“With its dedicated enthusiast audience, SEMA is the best place to showcase our full catalog of quality-tested, factory-backed, performance parts and accessories. These seven new custom vehicles demonstrate the passion, creativity and innovation of the Mopar team,” said Mark  Bosanac, North America Vice President, Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care.

Jeep is responsible for four of the seven custom offerings, while Ram Trucks rounds out the rest. Here’s how Mopar is showing off with its custom Jeep vehicles.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe Concept

Off-road enthusiasts can dream of going green thanks to this concept as it singlehandedly showcases how the plug-in electric hybrid offering complete with factory-backed parts can take the path less traveled more efficiently. Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) complements the concept with an industry-first 2-inch lift kit complete with FOX shocks designed exclusively for the Wrangler 4xe. JPP also added Beadlock-capable wheels with functional Beadlock rings, and 37-inch tires. The concept also boasts custom underbody rock lights so the driver can enjoy improved visibility and avoid damage from rocks and debris.

Jeep Wrangler Overlook Concept

This one truly is a concept as Mopar stretched a four-door Jeep Wrangler Sahara and converted it into luxurious three-row off-roader clad in numerous products from the existing JPP portfolio. An additional 12 inches in the cabin of the Sahara Bronze Jeep Overlook give this concept a third row of seats, while the custom modular roofline is about five inches taller than the standard, allowing for extra headroom. Dual side and (three) front-facing windows above the second and third rows to truly enhance overall visibility. There’s also a custom removable one-piece Freedom Top that includes a flip-up glass sunroof panel. A 2-inch lift kit with FOX shocks makes this Wrangler more menacing, while 20-inch Black Rhino York wheels mounted on 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires complement the rugged look while providing superior protection and durability.

Jeep Grand Cherokee L Breckenridge Concept

This one-of-a-kind SUV features a sleek look with a custom two-tone Magnetite matte/metallic and gloss-black paint theme complete with satin bronze accents. The exterior of the Jeep Grand Cherokee L Breckenridge Concept features 21-inch wheels with a gloss black finish and matching gloss-black faces, lug nuts, and center caps. There’s also a roof-mounted, piano-black Thule cargo box that is comfortably located on top of dual Mopar cross bars, all while adding additional storage for snowboards and skis inside a safe, hard-shell, lockable container. On the inside, the Grand Cherokee L Breckenridge enthusiasts can find a wide array of custom colors and premium materials that elevate the model and take its comfort to luxurious heights. Interior custom features include Atmospheric Blue Palermo leather seats, trim finished in premium satin walnut, and door panels with blue quilting.

Kaiser Jeep M725 Concept

This is the only offering from Mopar for the 2021 SEMA show that’s a vintage. A 1967 Kaiser M725 military ambulance serves as the base that’s transformed into an ultimate off-road support machine. This concept is painted Desert Tan and rides on 20-by-12-inch Black Rhino Armory wheels clad in 40-inch tires. JPP fits the wheel-and-tire package thanks to custom, widened fenders. Modified JPP rock rails made of heavy-gauge steel protect the body of Kaiser Jeep M725. On the inside, the Kaiser Jeep M725 has low-back Jeep Wrangler seats in a tan canvas upholstery. The instrument panel was refurbished and modernized, while the driver control center is complete with a custom-built steering wheel and column. JPP mounted a specially designed data plaque that shows the unique specifications of the Kaiser Jeep M725. The custom center console is special as it’s crafted from a repurposed ammunition box — it houses the transmission and transfer case shifters.
