April 29th, 2021 by

Mopar is getting in on the hybrid action as it helps herald in the introduction of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, Jeep’s first plug-in hybrid offering stateside. Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) delivers yet again with a slew of accessories and aftermarket parts for the latest 4xe model.

“With an industry-first kit for a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, Jeep Performance Parts from Mopar will give owners of the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe the opportunity to amplify the 4×4 capability and the fun-to-drive, open-air experience of the most capable, technically advanced, eco-friendly SUV. The 2021 Wrangler 4xe is Trail Rated with solid front and rear axles, a full-time 4×4 two-speed transfer case, a fully articulating suspension, and 30 inches of water fording capability,” said Jim Morrison, Vice President, Jeep Brand North America.

With 21 miles of nearly-silent, zero-emission, electric-only propulsion, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe proves itself efficient as an all-electric commuter without any range anxiety. The model is powered by a hybrid powertrain that includes a high-tech 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with two electric motors, a high-voltage battery pack, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. With a benchmark 470 lb-ft of torque, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe offers buyers a Wrangler like never before with a fuel-saving and performance boost of a twist.

“We continue to expand our off-road Jeep portfolio with more innovative new features, including convenient at-home electric-vehicle chargers for vehicles like the new Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Across the entire Jeep lineup, Mopar offers more than 500 quality-tested, factory-backed parts, and accessories,” said Mark Bosanac, North America Vice President, Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care.

Below are a few worthy additions JPP and Mopar are offering for the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe.

2-inch Lift Kit ($1,495)

The industry’s very first lift kit for this plug-in hybrid Wrangler includes four springs, a JPP badge, four FOX shocks, front and rear bump stops, front lower control arms, front and rear stabilizer links, and numerous fasteners as well. The kit is packaged in a reusable wooden crate with a JPP logo.

240-volt, at-home, Electric Vehicle Wall Chargers ($621.50 – $647.90)

Available with Jeep or Mopar branding, 240-volt wall chargers vary from hardwired ($621.50) to plug-in ($647.90) variants for at-home use. Owners can charge their iconic off-roader more than five times faster than when using a standard cord set cable. Both chargers are available over at the Mopar eStore.

JPP Rock Rails ($925)

Serious off-roaders will love these rock rails as they add lower-body protection to the Wrangler. Constructed from zinc-coated steel for ultimate corrosion resistance and roll-formed, these rock rails provide superior protection when off-roading.

JPP Tube Doors ($1,195)

Composed of 2-inch round, heavy-gauge steel tubes, these tube doors really hone in on the open-air freedom that Jeepers have come to expect over the years. Added strength comes from production hinges and rubber bump stops, all with a factory fit and finish and a smooth ride free of shakes and rattles.
