South Florida Jeep Club’s Events in January
Aside from owning a great vehicle that can handle all types of terrain and driving, one great thing about owning a Jeep is the Jeep community.
In South Florida, the biggest Jeep group is the South Florida Jeep Club. The South Florida Jeep Club was originally formed in 1982 as the Plantation Jeep Club. They formed on the basis of mutual enjoyment of owning and using Jeep vehicles and because camping and four wheeling in a group is more fun and safer than going alone.
33 years, later the South Florida Jeep Club has grown its membership and has increasingly become more active in the community and around the nation. Activities they participate in range from four-wheeling, camping, charity work, sporting events and more.
The group currently meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m and they rotate locations between these South Florida Jeep dealerships: Hollywood Chrysler Jeep; Massey Yardley Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram; Arrigo Chrysler Jeep Dodge; and Miami Lakes Automall.
The January monthly meeting was held at Hollywood Chrysler Jeep on Jan. 12 and the month’s remaining events include an Instaphoto hunt scheduled for Friday, Jan. 23 and a meet and greet at Joe’s Crab Shack in Fort Lauderdale at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 27.
