South Florida Jeeps Clubs and 4WD Clubs
Whether you drive a Jeep Wrangler Sahara SUV 5-speed automatic colored in a cool shade of commando green, a rugged 6-speed Jeep Wrangler Sport in bumble-bee yellow, or any one of the other countless showroom-pristine or custom modified Jeeps venturing up and down Florida’s coastline and backroads, you can join Jeep Clubs in South Florida! Here’s a few of the many Jeep Clubs in South Florida to connect with other like-minded Jeep enthusiasts:
South Florida Jeep Club (SFJC)
Initially orchestrated over 30 years ago with the goal to create a club for individual Jeep owners who wanted to go camping and 4-wheeling within the safety and camaraderie of a group, theSFJC has been a mainstay in the Jeep community since 1982. In addition to holding their own Jeep festival every year, the club is actively involved in the southern Florida community and steadfastly supports all things Jeep-related; they:
- patronize local companies who sponsor special events for Jeep owners
- promote and shop at local businesses that provide Jeep-related products and services
- attend events sponsored by other Jeep clubs
- embrace every opportunity to participate in local parades and community charity events where they can show up in their vehicle!
If you’re interested in joining, they meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at one of four locations. Membership is $35 for the first year and once you’ve been a member for 10 years, it’s free! With a motto like “Mud, Sweat, and Gears” it’s easy to understand how this club got to be one of the most popular Jeep clubs in all of southern Florida.
The Swamp Things 4X4 Club
Based out of West Palm Beach, the Swamp Things 4×4 Club was established in 2006 with the intent to create a cool club for owners of Jeeps (and/or other 4×4 vehicles) who want to do fun activities together throughout southern Florida. It’s a truly family-friendly club and best of all ~ it’s free! There are no annual membership dues!
Everglades Jeeps & 4X4s
Although it’s not mandatory you attend the regular meetings of this club, you do have to own a Jeep or some other kind of 4×4 vehicle and agree to the club’s by-laws. Membership is $30 bucks a year and you can expect 12 months jam-packed with lots of fun activities, including: picnics, camping, vehicle shows, 4×4 Jamborees, community service events, 4-wheelin’, mud races, rock climbing, and more!
