The 2023 Jeep Gladiator Outshines the Iconic Wrangler–Here’s Why

Anyone that’s ever been inside a Jeep Wrangler knows it’s a fun vehicle to ride. Removable doors (as well as a roof), paired with optimal 4×4 systems, make the Jeep Wrangler the designated adventure vehicle. Considered impractical for those who rely on their vehicles for more than off-road adventures, the Jeep Wrangler inspired the creation of the Jeep Gladiator–the intersection where fun and function collide. The 2023 Jeep Gladiator takes things even further, with more options than ever before. Buyers can expect nine trim variations, removable wireless speakers, Desert Rated badges and much more.
2023 Jeep Gladiator
Those interested in a 2023 Jeep Gladiator can expect a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 beneath the hood, complete with engine stop-start. Additionally, there’s also a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine which also features engine stop-start for fuel-saving purposes. All Gladiator pickups, regardless of engine, come equipped with a body-on-frame design, a versatile box, front and rear five-link suspension system, electronic lockers, and solid axles. The Jeep Gladiator remains one of the few pickups on the market to still offer a six-speed manual transmission, in addition to its available eight-speed automatic transmission as well.
Technology doesn’t take a back seat either on the 2023 Gladiator as buyers can expect standard features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control, Rear Cross Path detection, Forward Collision Warning Plus and much more. Buyers can expect traditional Jeep attributes that are expected of this strong truck, while mixing it with the Gladiator’s unique blend of modern and otherwise iconic features.
New Features for 2023
Jeep is offering buyers the Jeep Gladiator Freedom Special Edition which not only features capability enhancements, it also features aesthetic upgrades including an Oscar Mike badge on the rear tailgate, body-color fender flares, winch-capable steel front and rear bumpers, an American flag decal along the sides of the vehicle, LED headlamps, fog lamps, steel rock rails, and black wheels. On the interior of the Gladiator Freedom Special Edition buyers can find leather-trimmed cloth upholstery and black accent stitching.
Jeep is also offering a new Capability Package on the High Altitude trim which comes standard with a winch-capable steel front bumper, a front off-road camera, and steel rock rails. On the Willys trim buyers can now enjoy proximity keyless entry, a 7-inch instrument cluster, a garage door opener, and remote start. As of 2023, every Gladiator pickup features an american flag on the front fender, and as we mentioned recently, the Mello-Yello inspired High Velocity shade replaces the outgoing Snazzberry.
