The 2023 Jeep Renegade Gets a Small Update

The 2023 Jeep Renegade, recognized for its best-in-class off-road capability, is getting an upgrade for the 2023 model year with the introduction of a bold and fun-to-drive Upland trim. Pairing off-road looks with legendary Jeep 4×4 performance, the 2023 Jeep Renegade also features a well-appointed interior cabin and upgraded content. Additionally, Jeep is even bringing back the Solar Yellow exterior paint option to all Renegade trims, including the all-new Upland trim.

The upcoming Renegade Upland is based on the model’s existing Latitude trim and comes as a package with a $595 MSRP. Buyers can expect a signature matte black hood decal, cornering fog lamps, automatic headlamps, an off-road-ready front and rear fascia, a windshield wiper deicer, 17-inch aluminum wheels with aggressive all-terrain tires, Gloss Black badging, black cloth bucket seats with bronze inserts, ambient lighting, as well as Uconnect 4 infotainment on a standard 8.4-inch display and GPS navigation.

Beneath its hood, the 2023 Jeep Renegade Upland is powered by a standard 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Jeep’s Active Drive full-time 4×4 system routinely delivers smooth operation whether in four-wheel drive or not, without any driver interaction. Also, the brand’s Selec-Terrain system is also standard and provides drivers with up to four modes (Auto, Snow, Sand and Mud) for top-tier performance no matter the weather conditions. 

All Renegade vehicles, regardless of trim, come standard with over 70 safety and security features, including standard Blind-Spot Monitoring, Active Lane Management, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking and more. Not only is the 2023 Renegade available in Upland Yellow, buyers can also choose from Alpine White, Colorado Red, Slate Blue, and Sting Gray, bringing the Renegade’s total color options to six.
