The time has come for the Chrysler 300 to meet greener pastures as the automaker announced it would commemorate the model with the addition of the Chrysler 300C before finally phasing it out. Powered by a 6.4L HEMI® engine to the tune of 485 horsepower, the 2023 Chrysler 300C pulls no punches. The 2023 Chrysler 300C was revealed at the 2022 North American International Auto. Nearing the end of an era, the Chrysler 300C pays tribute to over 70 years of the nameplate. Initially introduced in 1955 and revived in 2005, the Chrysler 300 has remained synonymous with American luxury and performance.

“We’re celebrating the Chrysler 300 and its iconic legacy in the automotive world. The Chrysler 300 changed the automotive world in so many ways, and we will carry that spirit of ingenuity forward as we transform Chrysler with a fully electrified future and breakthrough customer experiences,” said Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand chief executive officer.

6.4L HEMI-powered 2023 Chrysler 300C

Powered by a hefty 6.4-L HEMI engine, the 2023 Chrysler 300C will be a limited-production run vehicle with only 2,000 units manufactured for the U.S. and another 200 headed to Canada. America’s biggest and boldest sedan gets even bigger and bolder thanks to its 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, bringing the model from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.3 seconds. The 2023 Chrysler 300C can reach a top speed of 160 mph and cover the quarter-mile in just 12.4 seconds. The HEMI engine is paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission that’s tasked with optimizing fuel economy without sacrificing power. Other performance features of the 2023 Chrysler 300C include four-piston Brembo brakes, active damping suspension, black rounded exhaust tips that add a menacing look and give the vehicle’s exhaust a throaty sound, and a 3.09 limited-slip differential.

On the exterior of the limited-production model, buyers will find a tri-color 300C badge on the grille and decklid, as well as black chrome accents on the grille and lower fascia. Additionally, Chrysler also added black headlamps and taillamp bezels. Chrysler will offer the 2023 300C in the following shades: Bright White, Velvet Red, and Gloss Black. The model’s interior is something else altogether as it features black Laguna leather upholstery embossed with a new 300C logo and silver stitching. Even more silver stitching can be found throughout the cabin as it graces the doors and leather instrument panel, while carbon fiber and Piano Black touches round out the rest of the interior.

Standard features of the 2023 Chrysler 300C include a premium 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, the latest Uconnect infotainment system, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, and Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities. Advanced safety features are also standard and include Advanced Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning Plus, and Full Speed Collision Warning Plus. Comfort features of the Chrysler 300C include a heated steering wheel as well as heated and ventilated front seats.
