This Jeep Wrangler is a Hero

Stumper, he’s just like any of the Jeep Wrangler
models you’d find in our Miami area showroom; but this
particular Rubicon SUV has a unique story. You see, this vehicle was in Moore,
Oklahoma when last month’s devastating tornados hit the area. And, although
heavily damaged, this bright orange auto took to the streets to help out those
in need.

Let’s start at the beginning. Bryan Hutton was in
Moore to visit his parents when the EF5 twister arrived. Locking his Jeep
Wrangler Rubicon, named Stumper, in the garage, Hutton and his loved ones took cover.
After the storm passed, fortunately everyone in the family shelter emerged
unharmed. As for the utility vehicle, it was in rough shape, but it wasn’t
completely totaled: the engine roared back to life.

Jumping behind the wheel, Hutton took off to help
friends and neighbors to safety, and delivered paramedics to the scene. Using an
8,000 pound winch and cable, the Jeep Wrangler was even able to help first
responders.

This story, as if possible, gets even better. Hearing
of Hutton and Stumper’s accomplishments, Crocker Off-Road Performance jumped to
assist. The custom Jeep brand builder, located in nearby Arizona, is giving the
heroic Wrangler Rubicon a complete rebuild. We’re assuming that will include
valiant touches.

At Hollywood Chrysler Jeep we
think this story is wonderful; it shows the resilience of both man
and machine. For more information on this inspirational account,
