We Don’t Make Jeep, You Do. Share Your #myjeepstory
Today (April 7) is the first day of Jeep’s new year-long social media campaign, #myjeepstory. Held in congruence with Jeep’s 75th anniversary, Jeep has created a special platform for their audience to share personal stories that embody the adventurous, authentic, free and passionate spirit of the brand which were enabled by Jeep vehicles.
Participants can share their stories by using the hashtag #myjeepstory via the social media channels, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The stories can be told with text, videos or pictures. In addition, fans can go to www.jeep.com/myjeepstory to post video of their own “My Jeep Story” directly onto the microsite.
There will also be monthly “Story Sessions” that will have a focus and topic. As part of the Jeep brand’s shared history with partner USO, both marking 75 years in 2016, the brand is making a $1.4 million dollar donation to the organization. The year will culminate with a digital compilation of “75” stories that speak authentically to the spirit of the brand.
