Which Chrysler Pacifica Trim is Right for Your Family?

May 2nd, 2018 by

The Chrysler Pacifica is truly one of the most convenient vehicles on the market today and some buyers are pretty surprised when they come to look at the Pacifica and see all of the awesome features that are available. Available in a number of trims, the Chrysler Pacifica has a great set of standard features in the base trim, the Chrysler Pacifica L, and the trim that has all of the best features is the Chrysler Pacifica Limited, so here’s a look at the differences between both models.

All of the Chrysler Pacifica trims  have the same engine and its the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine (Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid models have a different powertrain). The 3.6-liter engine is used in a number of vehicles made by FCA, and that’s because it is durable and powerful. The 3.6-liter engine produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, which is enough to give the Pacifica a max towing capacity of 3,600 pounds — not bad for a minivan. The Chrysler Pacifica is also fuel efficient, in fact, it’s one of the most fuel efficient minivans available. The Pacifica averages 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

The area buyers will notice the biggest difference between the Pacifica L and Pacifica Limited is the interior. The Pacifica L is equipped with Stow ‘n Go seating in the vehicle’s second- and third-row seats, a 6-speaker audio system, and a 7-inch touchscreen. The Pacifica L also includes Uconnect 4, and it has a number of entertainment and convenience features that most buyers don’t expect to be standard on a minivan. Uconnect 4 provides access to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which allows users to sync up their smartphones to the infotainment system and then use the vehicle’s large touchscreen or built-in Bluetooth voice command system to do certain phone functions like make phone calls or send text messages. Other features of the Pacifica L include USB ports for charging mobile devices, easy-to-clean seats and sunscreen glass.

The Pacifica Limited has all the features the Pacifica L has, and then some. Not only does the Pacifica Limited come with more features, but some of the standard features in the Pacifica L have been upgraded. The Pacifica Limited comes standard with Stow ‘n Go seating in the second- and third-row seats and there is also an available power folding option that will fold the vehicle’s third-row seats up with the push of a button. The Pacifica Limited is equipped with a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen and a more impressive 20-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

The features that are most impressive to buyers is the Pacifica Limited’s built-in vacuum cleaner as well as the Tri-Pane panoramic sunroof. There’s hardly anything that’s more practical than having a built-in vacuum cleaner in a vehicle that’s always going to be filled with people, or things. The sunroof spans almost the entire length of the vehicle, so it gives passengers in the front-, second- and third-row seats a view of the sky above. If buyers or passengers don’t want the sunroof open, the sunvisor can be closed with the push of a button.

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica L has a starting MSRP of $26,995 (plus destination fee), and the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Limited has a starting MSRP of $44,995 (plus destination fee), and both models are available at Hollywood Chrysler Jeep.
