Jeep Wrangler 4xe Receives Hispanic Motor Press’ Adventure Vehicle of the Year Award
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, with its electrified powertrain, reaffirms its status as the ultimate adventure vehicle. Boasting legendary capability, unparalleled open-air freedom, class-leading efficiency, and a range of premium features, it has been honored with the 2024 Adventure Vehicle of the Year award at the 14th annual Hispanic Motor Press (HMP) Awards.
The 2024 HMP jury panel consists of independent Hispanic automotive journalists, content creators, and industry influencers carefully chosen by the organization’s advisory board. With over 20 juror members hailing from various parts of the country, they meticulously assessed over 100 new vehicles throughout 2023. The evaluation process involves considering a range of vehicle features, including overall design, comfort, safety, economy, handling, performance, functionality, infotainment integration, interior design, environmental considerations, driver satisfaction, and pricing.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, the latest iteration of the world’s most off-road-capable and iconic SUV, enhances its capabilities with new technology and advanced safety features, all while remaining true to the Wrangler’s essence of providing the freedom to explore any terrain and undertake diverse adventures. Newly introduced for the 2024 model year, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe comes equipped with a standard full-float Dana rear axle and an optional factory-installed 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch. Complementing these additions is the award-winning PHEV powertrain, delivering 375 horsepower, 470 pound-feet of torque, a 21-mile all-electric range, and an impressive 49 MPGe.
The interior of the 2024 Jeep 4xe offers buyers increased comfort and safety features, showcasing a new design that includes available 12-way power-adjustable front seats, a standard 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio, and standard side-curtain airbags in the first and second rows.
2024 Jeep Wranlger 4xe: What’s New?
For the 2024 model year, the Wrangler 4xe undergoes a subtle visual and technological refresh, sporting an updated grille and introducing an impressive array of 10 new wheel designs. Inside, a standard 12.3-inch infotainment display replaces the smaller 5.0- and 7.0-inch screens found in the previous year’s Wranglers. This new display incorporates Jeep’s latest infotainment software, along with the convenience of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The onboard navigation system now encompasses mapping for over 2000 trails, with the capability to download additional ones. Notably, Jeep has enhanced the cabin’s tranquility for phone calls by integrating a more robust active noise-cancellation feature. The plug-in hybrid 4xe powertrain is now available on Sport and Rubicon X trims, and hybrid models receive a new 3.6-kilowatt auxiliary battery to power accessories as well.
